The distance revealing the misshapen forms to be horribly mishapen....they might have been human at one point but that was in the distant past. The gibbering ones skin is a murky midnight black its humanoid form covered in a thousand fanged mouths that all seem to speak at once. The one to its right is of a similar color this one a shiny black mucous maybe? covers it, dripping slowly as it moves closer. To the left of the mouth covered one is a creature that looks much like a twisted zombie, heavy fetid breath with claws that drip something that hisses on impact with the earth. The one on the far left of the group looks much the same as the one next to it though rotted and bloated, like a carcass dragged from the lake to be left rotting two days in the sun.<<>>
[10:59pm] Fayth: <<>>The one dripping foul liquid from its claws plants itself firmly and roars out a deep preternatural sound that ends in a piercing shriek like nails on a chalk board. All the mouths on the dark skinned on begin to chatter all at once, a nightmarish miasma flowing from it but not yet effecting anyone<<>>

Its companions scattering spreading around the group bringing them even closer. The distance revealing the misshapen forms to be horribly mishapen....they might have been human at one point but that was in the distant past. The gibbering ones skin is a murky midnight black its humanoid form covered in a thousand fanged mouths that all seem to speak at once. The one to its right is of a similar color this one a shiny black mucous maybe? covers it, dripping slowly as it moves closer. To the left of the mouth covered one is a creature that looks much like a twisted zombie, heavy fetid breath with claws that drip something that hisses on impact with the earth. The one on the far left of the group looks much the same as the one next to it though rotted and bloated, like a carcass dragged from the lake to be left rotting two days in the sun.<<>>
[10:59pm] Fayth: <<>>The one dripping foul liquid from its claws plants itself firmly and roars out a deep preternatural sound that ends in a piercing shriek like nails on a chalk board. All the mouths on the dark skinned on begin to chatter all at once, a nightmarish miasma flowing from it but not yet effecting anyone<<>>

[11:01pm] • Jason-cr-21r2 drops the m-4 and flees, something in him snapping and he panics
[11:06pm] • SNB-14 manages to get a bullet in on roar-guy... bruising him.
[11:15pm] • Ekko13R2 moves forwards to the right and slashes at the bad guy close to her, claws swiping through and hitting well but her claws slice through only slightly
[11:15pm] • Ekko13R2 yanks back and growls <g> "Im stuck!"
[11:19pm] • Farid12P1 focuses...and an aura of light illuminates the battlefield, leaving the monstrous forms mostly clear-as-the-day. Somewhere, the words had slipped past his memory.
[11:31pm] Fayth: <<>>The dark oozing thing Ekko is stuck to rears back to back hand her as hard it can, not doing any damage but becoming stuck on her face and hair. The fetid creature on the far left of the group starts to heave violently, rears back like its going to spew something and swallows it instead.<<>>
[11:34pm] • Bryna-CR-9 shakes her head, clearing the anger for a moment. She takes note of Braveblade's injury and quickly steps to his side. Her paw gently brushes the wound, healing it.

[11:37pm] • Wren-Hispo-16R2 howls and speeds forward on all fours, leaping at the muckus and tearing into the creature with his jaws. He chews a large portion of its face off but is stuck to the creature and continually growling./
[11:42pm] • BB_Cr26R4 shifts position some and snarls ferally, lashing out with his claws, in an almost martial artsy clawstrike to the gibbering nightmare, mentally facepalming asd Wren gets himself stuck

[12:43am] • Farid12P1 looks at the bear, and immediately he has his trepidation at slaying one of bear's children...he looks to the Rite of Cleansing he had prepared prior to this mission...and advances towards the umbral ursid.
[12:48am] • Farid12P1 moves towards the bear, and basically gets as close as possible to it before pressing a button. *Click* The effect is basically taking the Rite of Cleansing that he had been performing before they had headed out for the mission, and insta-performing it at moment of playback.
[12:49am] • Wren-H-15R2 leaps at the bear, trying in vain to bite its shoulder but his teeth never penetrate.
[12:51am] • Ekko13R1 jumps forwards and slashes at the great beast, slicing through it like a knive through butter
[12:52am] • SNB-13-r2 rushes forward to claw at the bearthing.
