[17:45] <Donny> She fell down the side of a cliff along a ridge, landed on a shelf... one leg is clearly broken..and Kenzie's sitting near the drop...probably wondering where her mother is... Good.. plenty of gear... lets go Kizzy.", he says, moving to follow her

[17:46] <+Erika> 6Pushing the hood to her truck closed she began to put everything away and leaving the door open after flicking a couple switches under the dashboard, she climbed into her truck to lay down on the seat and give her head a bit of a rest.

[17:41] * @pepper there is a trail from the camp that leads into the woods, a beautiful walk on a summer's day, the green canopy of leaves lush and plentiful as it lets in small sunbeams to light the way.

[17:54] * Shane` started setting up on the ground. nodding decisively to Rally as he tied off the lines to a few good strong trees, taping the ropes so they wouldn't fray and setting up the stretcher. His movements were clean, sharp and as focused as the rest of him
[17:54] * @pepper soon enough they get to Kenzie but the drop is not really visible. Kenzie is leashed to a tree with spider web around her waist and the tree and the baby is crying her eyes out.

[17:55] * Donny moves over to Kenzie to gently lift her up, backing away from the edge of the drop, crouching low so Kizzy can reach her too
[17:56] * @pepper Kizzy bites through the webbing and licklicklicks the baby as Kenzie sobs and buries her face in Donny's chest, hiccuping cause she's been crying for a while.

[17:59] * Shane` did just that, giving Rally her half of his rope as he started the slow, hard climb down with that stretcher on his back, the ropes hanging off of him

[18:09] * Rally`` attaches herself to the rope and tosses the rope down, and sets to repelling down

[18:10] * @pepper holding Pepper's head is a recliner-sized purple spider with bright pink eyes and a mouth with teeth like a lawn mower.
[18:10] * Donny is up top with Kenzie..Arah webbed her off so she didn't fall trying to get to Pepper, cuddles and rocks the child gently

[18:11] * Shane` makes sure that Kenzie and Donny are safe on that cliff before he nods his head, taking the stretcher with him all the way to the bottom, to hopefully transport Pepper

[18:14] * @pepper Pepper is laying on a shelf about 20 feet down the cliff, which had been hidden by the lush bushes. There is blood on her head and on the ground and her leg is turned at a garish angle.

[18:15] * Shane` just blinked for a second as he lowered the stretcher down, leaning over pepper and pulling something that looked like a large vitamin out of a case in his pocket
[18:16] <Shane`> here...bite down on this..it'll kill the pain. I'm Shane, and I'm just here to get you out and patch you up. Can you hear me?
[18:17] * @pepper is unconscious as Arah smacks the back of Shane's head with her front leg.

[18:18] * Shane` growls up at the spider* it's been a rough week and I just got down here, scuttlebutt. Now, are you gonna slap me around, or help her onto this stretcher?

[18:19] * Shane` puts that morphine ampule between Pepper's teeth, literally shoving it in her mouth as she comes around* there...that's it...bite down hard

[18:22] * Shane` looks up at Arah* I've gotta relocate this leg, or she'll bleed out on the way up. can you keep her still and calm while I work?
[18:22] * @pepper not realizing, she does as bidden, then cringes as the taste fills her mouth.
[18:22] * Rally`` helps get her onto the stretcher and pokes the spider gently. 14"Rally, not meatbag"
[18:23] * @pepper Arah nods and eyes Rally with three of her eight eyes.
[18:23] <@pepper> (Arah) I can get in her mind and keep her still. and at least you're female. that's a plus.
[18:23] * @pepper wraps four of her 8 legs around Pepper and holds her still.
[18:24] * Shane` nodded over to Rally* she's busted up pretty bad...once Donny's up on the surface, I'll need him to run for gauze and a splint. don't have much in this little medical wallet

[18:26] * Donny is still up at the top of the drop, with Kenzie and Kizzy x.x
[18:26] * Rally`` glances around for a slender rock or a straight stick, sometimes tree's grow out on those little shelves
[18:26] * @pepper Kenzie is still whimpering, her little face red as can be, needing a diaper change cause she's a bit damp but clinging to Donny and crying for her mama.
[18:27] * @pepper there is a small bunch of sticks on a bush at the extreme side edge of the ledge, near the drop.
[18:27] * Shane` reached out with two hands, one on each part of that unnatural twist in Pepper's leg. Thankfully, the work was quick and done in a single fast gesture. Unfortunately, the pain when he relocated her leg burned through even morphine. While she searched for a splint, he got to work using what little he had on him, even his own shirt, to pack and wrap her wounds until he could get her

[18:28] * @pepper her scream rips the forest, sending birds into flight.
[18:28] * Rally`` heads out towards the edge, keeping a hand on the rope if the edge lets go she'll just hang not plumet, reaching for a straight stick.
[18:29] * Donny doesn't have any diapers or he'd handle it, cuddling her close, rocking her softly, shhing softly, murmuring lightly to her,5<soft>"You'll be alright Kenzie..don't worry little one... we're here for you and your momma and at least she will be alright... I know..it's hard... she's right down there but you couldn't do anything..."

[18:38] * @pepper the stretcher rises and rises, pulled by the crinos at the top, Pepper giving a soft moan as it bumps the cliff wall.
[18:38] * Donny cuddles and rocks Kenzie gently, stroking her head nad back softly, trying to soothe her, letting Kizzy crowd in to cuddle Kenzie too
[18:40] * @pepper Kenzie clings to Donny and Kizzy, Pepper's backpack within view.

[18:43] * Donny moves a bit behind the tree for privacy and gets Kenzie set up, taking off the dirty diaper...holding his breath as appropriate depending what sort of mess is oging on in there x.x, cleaning her up before wiping down his own hands with a handwipe, all the soiled stuff in the sealable baggy, diapering her with the new diaper

[18:46] * Donny clothes her again and lifts her up, setting the baggie in the outer pouch of the backpack, getting a handful of cheerios, settling to a seat to wait, offering her one

[18:47] * @pepper Kenzie takes the cheerio and eats it, sniffling, her nose running.

[18:49] * Donny gets a tissue and gently wipes Kenzie's nose clean, humming tunelessly to her, giving her another cheerio after the first is gone

[18:53] * @pepper groans and relaxes in the stretcher.

[18:58] * Donny gets up, slinging the backpack over his shoulder, holding Kenzie in one arm, crouching to scoop Kizzy up to lay on kenzie

While she searched for a splint, he got to work using what little he had on him, even his own shirt, to pack and wrap her wounds until he could get her
